What I believe about you

You were handed the most powerful instrument a person can own, and nobody gave you the instruction manual.

Your mind has been running your life since the day you arrived. It decides what you notice, what you believe is possible, and what you reach for. Most of us never examine it. We inherit thoughts from family, school, and old versions of ourselves, and we live by them without ever asking whose they were.

Here's the idea my whole approach to coaching rests on:

You can't always choose the thoughts that show up. But you can choose which ones you keep.

A thought arrives. You can entertain it or dismiss it. Feed it or let it pass. That small act of choice, repeated, is what changes a life. Not overnight, and not by pretending the hard thoughts don't exist. By noticing them, questioning them, and deciding, on purpose, what you'll think instead.

That's what we practice in coaching. Not positive thinking. Deliberate thinking.

I know this works because it's how I got out of my own worst years, and it's what I've watched change things for my clients: the mother who stopped rehearsing her past mistakes, the woman who stopped waiting for everyone else to be sorted before making her own plans. Same skill, different lives.

Your mind is going to keep running either way. The only question is whether you're steering.
